Adopted Clydesdale gelding

Luke came to our farm on May 31, 2003 and left us on January 22, 2004. He was adopted from a rescue organization in Michigan, most likely found at an auction headed for the proverbial "glue factory". He was brought here with the idea that he could live out his last days learning the love that humans could give, and perhaps give some joy back to those he encountered. He did that very well, but mostly he spent his time here just being a horse; grazing, sleeping, hanging out with his horse and pony buddies, and enjoying attention and scritchies from me, "Mom". We'll miss you, big guy.
