More Critters!

This is Cream Puff. She is a pygmy goat, and one of the favorites in our petting zoo.

This is another favorite, Daisy, as a baby. Daisy was rescued as a tiny newborn who was blind at birth and unable to nurse. We fed her with a dropper and then a bottle, and she enjoyed her "work" with children at birthday parties for many years. We lost her to old age in 2003.

This is Bacon, the pig, at a party. Bacon was born a wild pig, but was found as a tiny baby at a ranch near Claude, TX. He needed a safe home, and we adopted him at about 6 months old. He has been a charmer at the parties, and he just LOVES leftovers from dinner too! He is now much too large to attend parties, but happily takes visitors at home.

This is one of our sheep, Lamb Chop, with her first baby, Rachel. Any time we have new babies born, as soon as they are strong enough, they come along with Mom to "work". Baby animals are quite a treat for children to see and pet!

Jerry is an Old English BB Red Bantam rooster. So many children who meet Jerry adore him because he is so friendly, and he does tricks, too! Just ask one of us to wear him as a "hat", or have him take a nap. See more chickens here: Chicken Page.

These two baby goats are Rocky & Pebbles. They are Cream Puff's babies, born in February 1999. I was lucky enough to witness their birth! If you would like to see these babies being born, click HERE

NO! We don't have any tigers! But we do have this sweet goat, Kachina, who was born in July, 1998. She is Cream Puff's daughter. See more zoo animals here: Petting Zoo.
